We are gearing up for Fall here in Georgia and are so excited for this new citrusy bourbon cocktail that is perfect for your next game day! We still have great blueberries so we are utilizing those smashed into this drink for a little twist!
Satsuma Bourbon Smash
Ingredients (1 serving):

2 oz bourbon

1/2 oz satsuma liqueur (or orange liqueur substitute)

6–8 fresh blueberries

½ oz fresh lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Ginger beer, to top

Ice
Garnish:

Fresh blueberries or a satsuma/orange slice

Mint sprig (optional)
Instructions:

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blueberries until well crushed and juicy.

Add the bourbon, satsuma liqueur, and lemon juice (if using). Fill shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.

Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice (We love to use our Highball glass here!).

Top with ginger beer (or your favorite ginger ale) and give a gentle stir to combine.

Garnish with blueberries, an orange/satsuma slice, and/or a sprig of mint.
